Hydrostatic Pressure Testing Machine Designed for Robust
Performance and Longevity in Industrial Pressure Testing Tasks
Product use:
Designed in strict compliance with the ASTM D1598 standard, this
PVC Plastic Pipe Hydrostatic Burst Pressure Testing Machine is
engineered to evaluate the resistance-to-failure duration or
instantaneous burst pressure of thermoplastic and composite
pipes—including PP-R, PP-B, PP-A, PE, PE-X, PVC, PVC-U, PVC-C, and
aluminum-plastic composite pipes—when subjected to prolonged
constant internal pressure and temperature conditions.
As an indispensable testing instrument, it serves as a core piece
of equipment for plastic pipe manufacturers, third-party testing
laboratories, and quality inspection institutions to validate
product performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Features:
- The testing machine employs an advanced airless hydraulic
pressurization system (using water as the test medium), which
delivers exceptional operational safety and reliability by
eliminating air-related risks in high-pressure cycles.
- The solenoid valves are sourced from premium international
suppliers, featuring high reliability and stable performance under
prolonged cyclic operation to ensure consistent test control.
- The high-pressure pump head is an imported Model 2525 triplex
plunger unit, capable of delivering a maximum output pressure of 25
MPa to meet the rigorous demands of high-pressure pipe testing.
- Each test channel operates independently; in the event of specimen
rupture, leakage, or test completion on one channel, the testing
process on other channels remains uninterrupted. This allows
simultaneous testing of pipes with varying specifications, models,
and materials to maximize testing efficiency.
- The system is equipped with a comprehensive power failure
protection mechanism. In the event of an unexpected power outage,
all ongoing test data is automatically saved, and the testing
process can be resumed seamlessly once power is restored, with all
historical test parameters preserved intact.
Standards:
ISO1167, ISO9080, EN921, ASTMD1598, ASTMD1599, ISO13479
Principle:
Upon entering key pipe parameters—including ring stress, wall
thickness, and average outer diameter—into the PC-based control
interface, the system autonomously computes the required test
pressure, which is then transmitted to the lower-level MCU embedded
system via an RS232 serial communication port.
The embedded MCU system then triggers automatic constant-pressure
regulation for the test specimens. A high-pressure pump generates
the hydraulic pressure source, which is conditioned by the
precision pressure control system and delivered via high-pressure
hoses to the pipe specimens housed in the medium incubator,
enabling long-duration hydrostatic pressure tests or burst pressure
evaluations.
